Glittery Gradient Nails

What you'll need:
a sheer, fine glitter nail polish
an opaque nail polish (preferably metallic or glittery)
(Both nail polishes should be in the same color family)
I used:
Pure Ice in Beware (sheer silver glitter)
Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Celeb City (metallic silver)

+Step 1+
Apply your usual base coat. (I forgot to do this, hence the lack of photo, but it will make it easier to remove the glitter nail polish if you do.)

+Step 2+
Apply the opaque color to the tips of your nails. It does not have to be perfect, by any means.

+Step 3+
Apply a coat of the glitter nail polish starting a few millimeters away from the cuticle and going all the way to the tip.

+Step 4+
Apply a second coat of the glitter nail polish, this time starting halfway down the nail (roughly somewhere in between where the glitter color and the opaque color started) and going all the way to the tip. This will blend the glitter and the silver tips and help create a gradient effect.

+Step 5+
Finish off with a liberal coating of your top coat.

And now you're finished!
