I've been spending significantly less on makeup lately but we're all prone to temptation every now and again, right? Here are the newest additions to my collection...

L to R: L'Oreal Colour Riche l/s in Fairest Nude, MAC Creme Cup l/s, MAC Docile l/g

Top to bottom: Fairest Nude, Creme Cup, Docile

When I was at MAC I noticed that Creme Cup looked very similar to MAC Angel but couldn't swatch them side-by-side because Angel was MIA. The first thing I did when I got home was swatch both Creme Cup and Angel on my hand and my lips. Here is how they look on the back of my hand:

L to R: Fairest Nude, Creme Cup, Docile, Angel

Creme Cup is slightly lighter and pinker, while Angel is slightly darker and has more mauvey undertones. However, once swatched on the lips the differences become less apparent:

(Please excuse any discoloration around my lips...the rest of my face was sans makeup today.)
MAC Creme Cup

MAC Angel

The two look virtually identical with the main difference being that Creme Cup is glossier due to it being a cremesheen finish while Angel has a frost finish.

Here are the other two on the lips:

L'Oreal Fairest Nude

This purchase was inspired by Lollipop26's latest video. It's a rich, mauvey nude that has quickly become one of my favorite nudes as it's mauvey undertones mimic the natural color of my lips. It looks natural rather than corpse-like, which nude lipsticks can often do. My only qualm is the old lady lipstick smell. Enough said.

MAC Docile

Docile is from MAC's new Fabulous Felines collection and is similar to MAC Icescape lipglass. It's an shimmery, icy pinky lavender that doesn't do much on it's own but looks gorgeous when worn over pink and lavender lipsticks.

Thanks for reading!
