The Monday Post #7

Monday is by far the gloomiest day of the week for me, followed by Sunday simply because it precedes Monday. Hopefully, The Monday Post will give you some beauty inspiration and help you get through the week! ❤

Favorite beauty read/viewing: Sunday Girl's post on the new Clarins Instant Light Radiance Boosting Complexion Base literally has me drooling. Although the rose shade she reviewed looks lovely for pink-undertones, I have my eye on the peach or champagne one. And, I'm about 5 weeks behind on watching Youtube videos at the moment, so if you have any favorites from the past few weeks, feel free to link me up!

Beauty goal: I'll be back in Oregon in a few weeks, and I'd like to organize another blog sale once I'm back. I have far too many amazing products in my collection that continue to be neglected, and I'm determined to send them off to loving homes. Let the blog sale planning start now...

Product Rediscovery: Not exactly a product rediscovery, but more of a "tool" rediscovery - my digits. While testing out a new foundation, I wanted see how it applied with different tools (brush, sponge, etc.), so one day, I gave my fingers a shot. Unlike many other beauty bloggers I know, I've never been a huge fan of this method as I find foundation more difficult to blend and the necessary hand washing post-application a pain, but this time, I didn't hate it. And, when I have a particular unsightly spot to conceal, no brush or sponge does it as well as my fingers. Gently patting it on is the only way to get true full-coverage.

Beauty lust: I think RMS Beauty Living Luminizer needs to be mine soon. I've been wanting to try out RMS Beauty for ages now, and it looks like their iconic highlighter (and maybe a Lip2Cheek or two) is the perfect place to start. 

Most looking forward to: I just realized that in just under four short months, I'll be graduated! No more school for the rest of my life (hopefully). Woohoo!
