Up until only recently, I was feeling really over the whole nude lip trend. Some people pull it off amazingly well (cough, cough, Jess!), but unless I'm doing a super smokey eye, I just feel kind of porn star-ish wearing one. Well, that all changed with the most recent item I chose during my last Back to Mac trip.
MAC Shy Girl Lipstick is the newest addition to my lipstick army and here she is next to MAC Cremesheen Glass in Boy Bait.
Shy Girl is a nudey-peach, meaning it's a peach with a touch of nude and not to be confused with a peachy-nude, which would be predominantly nude with peachy undertones. Keep up, people! Not to toot my own horn or anything, but I think it looks pretty amazing on me ;) My favorite lip combo lately has been Shy Girl with Boy Bait (a milky, pinky-nude, courtesy of Alicia) on top for a super flattering, completely non-concealer-like, nude lip.

It's a flattering and versatile nude pairing, in my opinion, because it's nude enough that it can be worn with a dramatic, smokey eye without calling any attention to the lips, but it still has enough color that it can also be worn with very minimal makeup and you won't risk looking washed out or plain.
I know that I'm super late to the party on this one, but better late than never, right? Shy Girl for the win!
Who has Shy Girl and loves it too?
